A video showing how to use Pokemon Bank and Pokemon Transporter. How to transfer Pokemon from Pokemon Bank to Pokemon Home. I will be transferring my Munna from Pokemon Black 2 / White 2 all the way to Sword and Shield.

If you had a 3DS and left your Pokemon in Bank but don't have your 3DS system to use, here's an alternate method to get your Pokemon transferred to Home: • Transfer Pokemon to Home WITHOUT a 3DS
UPDATE (5/30/2023): Pokemon Home is now compatible with Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: • Transfer KANTO Tauros to Scarlet and Violet

1Q. Is the PokeTransporter available in the eShop?
A: Sadly, neither Pokemon Transporter or Pokemon Bank are available in the eShop after March 27. I know that's sad. I wish Nintendo, GameFreak, and The Pokemon Company kept both apps in the eShop.
2Q. How do you use Pokemon Transporter?
A: The Pokemon Transporter is used to transfer your Pokemon from past games. The list of games are:
Gen 5 (Black, White, Black 2, and White 2)
Gen 1 (Red, Blue, Green (Japan only), and Yellow)
Gen 2 (Gold, Silver, and Crystal)
NOTE: Gens 1 and 2 were available to purchase in the Nintendo 3DS eShop before March 27, 2023.
IMPORTANT: If you're looking to transfer Pokemon from past games before Gen 5, that's impossible. Any Pokemon in gens 3 and 4 must be transferred to gen 5 in order to send them to Bank.
3Q: Do we still need a Pokemon Home premium (paid subscription) to transfer?
A: Yes.
4Q: How do we get Pokemon Transporter?
A: It was available to download by going to Bank and select the option in the menu where it says to download PokeTransporter. However, eShop is closed so it's impossible to download Transporter.
