Defeating all nine bosses in Iron Meat without being hit on hard difficulty and with the basic gun. Meat's on the menu when an interdimensional horror twists machines and people into monsters and you get to run-and-gun all the way to the moon to take it down.
Many thanks to Retroware for the early key with Iron Meat releasing September 26th.
The game could best be summed up as gory Contra (kind of like how Infernax was gory Castlevania). With some lovely pixel art, good music, and solid gameplay it's a well-done run-and-gun that has nice Contra vibes and some fun boss fights. There's three difficulties (with the full game available on any of them) and a bunch of unlockable skins through earning points to rank up or by completing achievements (only two achievements require doing something on higher than Easy difficulty).
One small criticism would be that the life system is extremely generous, giving the player 30 lives on Easy, 16 lives on Normal, and 9 lives on Hard and if you're below those numbers when completing a level you're set back to it on the next level.
All in all, I'd definitely recommend this if you're a Contra fan or love run-and-guns.
