In this video Bonnie goes over how to upload images into Silhouette Studio. It's important when uploading images to make sure it's simple and free for use with modifcation if you're getting it off Google.
Once you've downloaded your image, you need to make it a cutable file. To do this, click the trace button and adjust the high pass filter to get it where you'd like. Once you've done that, remove the image and your trace will be underneath.
To make the petals a different object, right-click and select "release compound path." That will make it so you're able to change the colors and cut them out seperately.
Always do a test cut and click "no-cut" for the parts you don't want to cut.
