Miscellaneous metal fabrication can be a tedious part of fabrication. You have to be precise; you have to be accurate, or things just won’t fit. The traditional process is often slow and labor intensive. HGG's RoboRail, the all-in-one plasma cutting machine build for the miscellaneous fabricator, is a game changer in streamlining the process. Stephan Chasse, President of SL Chasse Steel: “You are going to get 3 times more product out in the same amount of time using a machine like the RoboRail. 3-times product. 3-times volume. 3-times more money really is what it comes down to.”

Since the introduction of the RoboRail in October 2022 the first few machines are now up and running. We were welcomed by SL Chasse Steel to film just how the RoboRail speeds up their production. The company based in Hudson, New Hampshire (United States) specializes in Structural and Miscellaneous steel with the company philosophy focusing in on using automation to get as much volume out as quickly as possible. In the past the tedious nature of misc. manufacturing was preventing SL Chasse Steel from fully integrating this philosophy into their entire production process. Now with the RoboRail they are able to produce misc. metal just like they do structural steel.
