Why do we need a European initiative for AI?
While AI research in the USA or China is excellently organized, the European research landscape is highly fragmented. The vision of the European AI initiative CLAIRE is a CERN for AI, a Lighthouse Center where researchers from all over Europe work together on human-centric AI.
