Concrete is a key construction material used extensively in buildings, bridges, roads and dams. Quality of concrete is very important factor for making structure durable. To carry out concrete mix design it is important to test its ingredients.
Concrete Technology Lab of Darshan University, Rajkot is fully equipped with instruments such as Compressive Testing Machine, Universal Testing Machine, Loading Frame, Water Bath for Soundness Test, Flakiness Gauge and Length Gauge, Vicat Needle Apparatus, Blain Air Permeability Test Apparatus, Beam Mould, Cylinder Mould, Cube Mould, Compaction Factor Apparatus and Rebound Hammer.
The laboratory is used not only for the educational purpose but also used extensively for the material testing and consultancy work.
