“Work It Out Wombats!” is a PBS KIDS series that follows the adventures of three playful siblings — Zeke, Zadie, and Malik. They live with their grandmother, Super, in the Treeborhood, a fantastical treehouse apartment complex that’s home to a diverse community of animal neighbors. Every day, the Wombats and their friends use computational thinking to solve problems. Computational Thinking (or CT for short) is a creative way of thinking that helps people solve problems in more organized ways using a toolbox of skills from computer science. “Work It Out Wombats!” focuses on eight computational thinking skills. Find out all about them in this video.

About PBS KIDS for Parents:
PBS KIDS for Parents provides parents with information and resources to help them raise happy, healthy, smart, and kind kids. At PBS KIDS for Parents, we have a vision for a better world in which every child discovers unlimited possibilities—and we use the power of media to open those worlds of possibilities for all children. To support this vision, we want to reach and support parents as they help their children learn and grow to their full potential.
We are a noncommercial, research-based resource for families. And we believe that parents have all that it takes to be the best parent to their child. We want to help parents raise compassionate, resilient, empathetic, and curious children who bring value to their community. We do this by creating content that encourages parents to play, grow, and learn alongside their children.
