Synology and Network Link Aggregation / Port Trunking
In this video there is a demo of how Link Aggregation or Port Mirroring can help your network - it also shows what it DOESN’T do. Note that I haven’t covered SMB Multi-Channel here, but there’s a video coming on that shortly, so if you’re interested hit the subs button and you’ll get notified when I’ve done it.
Link aggregation is a great way to scale connections but it doesn’t give you great actual speed between two devices - not without SMB multi-channel anyway, and that’s not covered here.
