U Blox 7 GPS Dongle
In this video I'll install all software needed to run a U-Blox 7 GPS Dongle on a Raspberry Pi 4 running Debian 12 Bookworm.

Summary of command in Terminal
Show connected USB devices
lsusb
Install GPSD and dependency software
sudo apt -y install gpsd gpsd-clients
Use Nano to edit the GPS config file
sudo nano /etc/default/gpsd
Make sure all of these lines are in the file
START_DAEMON=”true”
USBAUTO=”true”
DEVICES=”/dev/ttyACM0″
GPSD_OPTIONS=”-n”
Install the chrony app
sudo apt-get install chrony
reboot pi
Check to see if services are running
systemctl is-active gpsd
systemctl is-active chronyd
Check GPS output, it should show time and geolocation, probably have to do this outside
gpsmon -n
00:00 Intro
01:47 Install GPSD
03:05 Edit the config file
04:13 Install Chrony
04:57 Check that services are running
05:14 Check for GPS Signal
