This poor dog rescued by ThisIsHouston:
"Meet Ozzy, He was shot a couple times in legs and his stomach. He was chained up because he was apparently trying to get away but he’s in bad, bad shape and he’s not getting up.
We received an email last night that said “if y’all don’t come asap he’s gonna die.” We knew time was of the essence.
He was found in a ditch away from his home and had reportedly been shot multiple times. He was no longer eating or drinking.
He’s took to the ER. He was too painful for them to assess his abdomen but they could see maggots in his stomach wounds, they were able to stabilize him and his BP is now at 110. His heart rate came down and is stable now as well.
