Train Sim World 2 - Rhein-Ruhr Osten - Trainspotting at Wuppertal-Oberbarmen
Welcome to the city of Wuppertal, Germany, as seen on the Rhein-Ruhr Osten route in Train Sim World 2. Today we're at Wuppertal-Oberbarmen station to film some passenger trains, and during the proceedings we'll see some DB BR422 electric trains on S8 and RB48 services, as well as two DB BR146.2 locomotives on RE4 services.
(The DB BR422 is included with the Rhein-Ruhr Osten route. As for the DB BR146.2 and Doppelstockwagen coaches, they come with the separate Main-Spessart Bahn route).
Oberbarmen is also the eastern terminus of the world-famous Wuppertal Schwebebahn. This unique suspended-monorail has been in operation since 1901, and runs for a distance of 13.8 kilometres from Vohwinkel to Oberbarmen. It's one of the few suspended monorail lines anywhere in the world.
