How to restring a double string lawn trimmer: Squeeze the two end buttons at the same time to pop out the string mechanism. Wind the string in opposite directions per the arrows on the mechanism. Thread about 12 cm or 5 inches of string through the holes and out the sides of the mechanism. Put mechanism back on the trimmer, taking care not to pinch the lines when you do so. Test by squeezing the two end buttons and making sure you can manually pull a bit of line out of the mechanism before turning the whole unit back over and re-starting it. Definitely wear eye protection everytime you trim !
