6,000 Miles Backpacking With An Osprey Aether 60
My 2005 Osprey Aether 60, has about 6,000 miles of backpacking experience. It’s seen the whole Appalachian Trail. And the PCT from Kennedy Meadows to Canada. It also knows every mile of the Long Trail in Vermont. Lots of miles in Montana, Canada, and many hiking trails in Pennsylvania too. It still works, but it mostly just hangs in my gear room now. It used to be orange, but now it’s faded yellow. I’ve upgraded to other packs, like an Exos, and even a newer Aether. Because packs now have hipbelt pockets, a water reservoir sleeve, stronger, lighter fabrics, and tons of other super cool features. But I’m always going to love my 2005 Osprey Aether 60!
