Note: Whilst this tutorial focuses on the new exposure adjustment feature introduced with Resolve 17, there are bugs with the exposure controls when the Timeline Gamma is set to Gamma 2.2, Gamma 2.4 or Gamma 2.6. Adjustments made with these timeline settings use the wrong Gamma function resulting in incorrect exposure adjustments. When using a Color Managed workflow, the default SDR preset uses Gamma 2.4 for the Timeline meaning that all exposure adjustments are incorrect. In a non-color managed workflow, the default Gamma for the exposure controls is Rec.709 (Scene) regardless of what is set under Project Settings.
