Through partnerships with institutions across the nation (and into the U.K.), Scholars receive annual awards that range from $5,400 to $75,000 (four-year awards total an average of $21,600-$300,000) with additional funds for enrichment activities such as study abroad, academic conferences, and leadership training. The Stamps Scholars Program and partner schools evenly share the costs of the awards.

Eligibility
The Stamps Scholars Program, with its partner schools, seeks students who demonstrate academic merit, strong leadership potential, and exceptional character.
Leadership development is at the core of the Stamps Scholarship program. Leadership potential is also a key part of the selection criteria for receiving a Stamps award.
The Stamps Scholars Program welcomes and supports students from all backgrounds and areas of study. Financial need is not a consideration.
International students are eligible for the Stamps Scholarship at some partner schools. You should check directly with the program to view eligibility requirements.
Stamps Scholarships are not transferable to other colleges or universities.

Benefits
Benefits of the Stamps Scholarship include being part of the Stamps Scholars on-campus and national communities, funding to support academic, full tuition fees and scientific research projects, cultural and leadership programs, study abroad, conventions and other regional conferences, and invitations to online events and networking opportunities.
Other additional benefits include on-campus housing, meal plan and health insurance.
Stamps Scholars receive a separate financial award to participate in leadership activities of their choosing.

Selection Process
Selected semi-finalist candidates for the Stamps Scholarship are asked to write a short response to a pre-determined essay prompt.
Finalists will be selected based on a review of candidates' applications and supporting documents, including their responses to the pre-determined essay prompt, and notified of their status as finalists at the time of admission in late January.
Finalists will be interviewed by the Stamps Family Charitable Foundation thereafter and Stamps Scholarship announcements will be made by early March.

How to Apply
Scholarships are awarded by the partner schools. Applying for a Stamps Scholarship is easy: apply to one or more partner schools. If you qualify, you’ll automatically be considered for a Stamps award. The majority of partner colleges and universities don’t require a separate application for the Stamps Scholarship, but the application deadline and award process varies from school to school along with the amount of the award. You need to contact partner schools directly.
Expect an interview (or two or three) to be part of the process.
