✈️ Bernoulli's explanation of lift is also referred to as the equal transit time theory.
😕 What's the flaw in this argument? There is no reason why air should move faster
over the top side of the airfoil. Also, aircrafts can fly upside down.
Another explanation of lift is to use Newton's third law. Air has mass. So, as the wing
pushes downwards, there is an equal and opposite force pushing back upward.
However, this doesn't explain pressure differences.
The main takeaway from this is that there isn't a comprehensive qualitative explanation for lift, without considering other aspects like viscosity, angle of attack, and Navier-Stokes equation.
