Lockpicking Lawyer just put out a video for the Lishi - bringing this unique and cool tool into the zeitgeist of people outside of the lockpicking world.

But is the Lishi a good tool for beginners? I don't think so. It doesn't teach you any real lockpicking skills, it's a very specific tool that only works in a small number of locks, and I don't think it's claims of being able to handle spool and security pins is all that honest.
