This week, I've been looking at how games present your weapons or items to you, in what's known as a weapon or item wheel. I've been doing some UI research into how that's displayed, and as you can see, each game that utilises weapon wheels does so in various interesting ways, even between games in the same series.
I'd like to implement something along these lines, whether for the full range of menu options, or just a quick access for weapons/items. Perhaps even have them customisable, like some of the games featured do!
