The new BYD Yuan Pro 2025 is the cheapest electric SUV in Brazil.
The new BYD Yuan Pro 2025 is now available for pre-order at a promotional price of R$182,800. The all-electric SUV is positioned above the Dolphin Plus (R$179,800) and below the Yuan Plus (R$229,800). Those who purchase now at launch receive one year of comprehensive insurance and five years of free maintenance! The price also includes a wallbox charger for home use.
The Yuan Pro's Blade battery is 45.1 kWh, with a range of 250 km (154 miles) according to Inmetro's rigorous standards. According to Chinese standards, it can reach 380 km (240 miles). Connected to 220V, it fully charges in up to 6.6 hours. With fast (DC) chargers, it can add 180 km (114 miles) of range in 20 minutes.
The Yuan Pro is also available through BYD's subscription program. The 48-month plan with a 1,000 km monthly deductible costs R$4,480. It comes with a 6-year vehicle warranty and 8-year battery coverage.
It delivers 177 hp and 29.5 kgfm of torque. It accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.9 seconds, reaching a top speed of 160 km/h. *Does not have semi-autonomous driving systems or a sunroof.
Inside, the Yuan Pro is sophisticated and well-appointed. It features the famous 12.8-inch rotating multimedia screen with Android Auto and wireless Apple CarPlay, LED headlights and taillights, conventional cruise control, inductive charger, 360-degree cameras, digital instrument cluster, electronic parking brake, digital air conditioning, and stability control.
The BYD Yuan Pro is positioned in a competitive price range, which includes best-selling compact SUVs with combustion engines, such as the VW T-Cross Highline (R$ 180,690) and the Hyundai Creta Ultimate (R$ 187,890).
