Guzhang County in the Wuling Mountains of western Hunan Province has high mountains and deep valleys, and fertile land, which is suitable for the growth of tea trees. Tea trees grow naturally in the mountains and forests, and are picked and made into Guzhang Maojian tea. Guzhang has a history of nearly 2,000 years of tea planting, and tea buds were used as tribute in the Tang Dynasty. It has a unique appearance, a pleasant aroma, a mellow taste, and a long aftertaste.
