I continue to share some tips on how to adjust your dresses in the bust area. Another very common defect that you can find when you are sewing your dress pattern is that the bust point (end of the darts) is either too high or too low.
This has an easy solution!
As I always say make a mockup of the fitted bodice, it's the important part to check in dresses of this style and it takes 10 minutes to do it.

If when you try on the mock up, the darts are too high or too low, measure the distance to the right point. To fix the height on the pattern:
📌 Make a bisector on the darts. Draw the centre line of the caliper.
📌 On this line you can lengthen or shorten the point of origin.
📌 Redraw the point symmetrically on both sides.

Easy!
