Whats next for World of Warcraft Classic, Hardcore and SoD? Roadmap 2024 released by Blizzard
Blizzard has published the roadmap for WoW Classic in 2024. However, this only contains a rough time frame from winter to autumn. However, it all starts with the last raid of Wrath of the Lich King: the Ruby Sanctum. There we will face the dragon Halion - The Twilight Destroyer in preparation for Cataclysm. Blizzard plans to release this on 11 January. The next phase of Season of Discovery is also scheduled to begin in winter. This will increase the maximum level from 25 to 40 as well as new runes and a new PvP event which will possibly take place in Stranglethorn. It will also bring with it the revised version of the Gnomeregan dungeon as a raid. Overlapping in time, beta access for Cataclysm will also be possible. You can already register for this on the Blizzard website from now on. For the transition from winter to spring, the newly announced Self-Found Mode for Hardcore Mode will be available in addition to the beta. This should work similarly to the original Hardcore addon and prevent players from trading, using the mailbox or the auction house. The level increase to level 50 for Season of Discovery, further runes and a new raid are planned for mid-spring. At the end of spring, the pre-patch event for Cataclysm Classic will be launched, bringing with it the new playable races Worgen and Goblins, as well as the new guild features, Account Wide Collections and Transmog. The release of the third addon Cataclysm Classic is planned for summer, as well as the final level increase to 60 in Season of Discovery and the release of end game activities and further content and raid patches for Cataclysm.
