Exploring Edinburgh in JUST 24 Hours!
We are in Edinburgh, Scotland for our VERY FIRST TIME! But we only have a day to explore Edinburgh, so come with us and spend 24 hours in Edinburgh with us! We start off exploring the old town of Edinburgh walking through Advocates Close to St Giles Cathedral. Then we reach the street that inspired Harry Potter's Diagon Alley, Victoria St. All this walking has us hungry so we stop off at Mary's Milk Bar for the best ice cream in Scotland! We then admire the view of Edinburgh Castle from Vennel View Point, before heading to Carlon Hill to climb Scotland's Replica Parthenon! Of course we had to walk along Princes St and admire the Scott Monument before strolling through Princes Gardens (which has INCREDIBLE views of Edinburgh castle!) Only about a 15-20 minute walk from Edinburgh's Old Town is a beautiful town right out of a postcard, Dean Village. After snapping some pictures here we make our way back to Edinburgh Castle to begin our walk along Edinburgh's Royal Mile!
