Appiatse Redevelopment Scheme
After a horrific road accident involving mining explosives a year ago, work on the first phase of restoring the Appiatse community in the Prestea-Huni Valley municipality of Western Region is reportedly 40% complete.
124 housing units made up of two- to seven-bedroom houses are being built as part of the current phase of renovation, along with a school building with restrooms and local roadways.
