The record for the ‘Largest Traditional Sambalpuri Folk Dance Performance’ was set by Vikash Residential School, Kalahandi, Odisha. On the occasion of Sambalpuri Day- August 1, 2024, a total of 300 students performed Sambalpuri folk dance for a duration of 7 minutes and 49 seconds, while wearing the traditional attire. The performance began with a mesmerizing display of live music, featuring traditional instruments like Dhol, Muhuri, Tasha and Nishan.
