I'll show you how to glue non-woven wallpaper on walls with your own hands. Wallpapering begins from the corners of the room strictly vertically. Vinyl wallpaper is a paper or non-woven base on which plastisol (PVC with additional ingredients) has been applied, which gives the wallpaper strength and moisture resistance. Before hanging vinyl wallpaper, the walls were traditionally prepared. The dry adhesive mixture for vinyl products is diluted with water, as in the instructions. The walls are primed with glue or deep penetration primer. The wallpaper is quite heavy and does not allow air to pass through very well, so the walls can be pre-treated with a fungicidal solution: this way you can protect the walls from the appearance of mold under the canvas. When the glue has dried, take a thread with a weight and fill a vertical line on the wall, which will become a guide for gluing wallpaper. You cannot glue vinyl wallpaper onto old flooring. Wide embossed vinyl wallpaper is glued only to a leveled surface, so cracks are filled in advance. The dryness of the wall can be checked using a simple method. A piece of cellophane is glued to the wall with masking tape. If condensation forms on the inside in the morning, it means that the walls are not yet dry enough. The rolls are cut into identical strips with an allowance of about ten centimeters. When gluing non-woven wallpaper, glue is applied to the walls. When paper vinyl wallpaper is glued, the wallpaper strips themselves are covered with a layer of glue. How to glue vinyl wallpaper neatly? Adhering to a vertical line, place the first canvas.
