Capability Building is a priority, not an afterthought

Capacity-building is defined as the process of developing and strengthening the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in a fast-changing world. It is concerned with increasing your organization's ability to achieve its future goals. It involves looking at where you want your business to be, auditing your current capabilities to get there, and filling any gaps that will hold you back. Strategic capability is the mix of knowledge, skills, tools, processes and behaviours that combine to deliver organisational objectives. In other words, strategic capability is about delivering on business strategy to gain competitive advantage in the market.
