The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington invites you to join us via livestream as Wilton Cardinal Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, celebrates the Vigil Mass for The Nativity of the Lord on Christmas Eve (December 24, 2022) from the Cathedral of St. Matthew the Apostle in Washington, DC, United States of America. The Mass will begin at 10 PM EST. Cardinal Gregory will be the Celebrant and Homilist for this Solemn Mass of Christmas, with Rev. Msgr. W. Ronald Jameson acting as Concelebrant.
A festive musical prelude will begin the night's events at 9:15 PM EST, brought to you by the Cathedral's Schola Cantorum choir, who will be accompanied by a String Quartet!
Then, directly before the Mass, Cardinal Gregory will also perform a Blessing of the Manger Scene within the Cathedral, as we celebrate the birth of our Lord, Jesus Christ!
