The Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Washington offers an annual Mass dedicated to honoring the service of first responders, those in law enforcement and fire safety, and those who have fallen in the line of duty. We invite you to join us for our 29th Annual Blue Mass on May 2, 2023, at 12:10 pm EDT from St. Patrick Catholic Church in Washington, D.C., our city's oldest Catholic Church. Cardinal Wilton Gregory, Archbishop of Washington, will be the Principal Celebrant and the Homilist for this Mass, on a day which also celebrates the Memorial of Saint Athanasius, Bishop and Doctor of the Church.
