Words By Alexander Tvardovsky
Musicians and singers from different cities prepared a special event for the 75th anniversary of the great Victory. They performed the finale of the cantata for mixed choir and chamber orchestra "History of the great Victory" by the famous Rostov composer Elvira Korguyeva to the text of Alexander Tvardovsky's " On the day when the war ended...".
The initiative to create this project belongs to Elvira Korgueva-a member of the Union of composers of Russia, winner of 5 prizes of the Governor of the Rostov region, a scholar of the President of the Russian Federation and Ekaterina Samoylenko - twice winner of the Presidential prize, winner of all-Russian and international competitions. The idea was implemented with the support of the Central officers ' club of the Aerospace forces of the Ministry of defense of the Russian Federation.
Especially for the project, activists of the creative intelligentsia, staying at home at the moment, made individual recordings of their performance of the cantata "History of the great Victory", and sound producer Chester Goncharov (Rostov-on-don) combined the recordings of all participants.
21 musicians and 19 singers from 12 cities of Russia and a vocalist from the Republic of South Ossetia will take part in the event.
All performers are winners of National and International competitions.
