Did you know how easy it is to set up Veeam CDP to virtually eliminate data loss for your critical workloads? I'm talking about RPOs measured in seconds not minutes!

There are three simple steps to protecting your critical data.

First, we need to install a filter driver on the vSphere hosts. Under the covers, Veeam Backup & Replication uses the vSphere APIs for I/O Filtering (VAIO).

Next, we need to set up our Veeam CDP proxies. We want to make sure we have a proxy on each host sending and receiving workloads. After you setup your proxies, Veeam Backup & Replication can do the rest, and choose the best proxy for your CDP Protection Policy.

Last but not least, it is time to set up our CDP policy. This is simple to do, and driven by a wizard. If you've ever set up a Veeam job before, this will be super simple.

Don't forget to leverage Veeam Disaster Recovery Orchestrator for automatic DR plan documentation and verifying everything is working after recovery!
