If you have multiple Facebook accounts on Messenger, you can manage them by removing any account that you no longer need.
Luckily, the Messenger app allows its users to remove any account if they don't use or need it.
How To Remove An Account On Facebook Messenger
Make sure your Messenger is up to date with the latest features
Launch the application
Tap on the hamburger icon (three horizontal lines) at the upper left corner
Tap on your account name. You will see all the added accounts on the Facebook Messenger application
Find the account you'd like to remove
Swipe to the left
Tap on Remove
Follow any instructions that might appear to successfully remove the account
