This video shows you how to apply for a Thailand Pass in order to travel to Thailand without having to quarantine on arrival. You may apply at https://tp.consular.go.th/

You must be fully vaccinated against Covid by having taken the standard number of doses of an approved vaccine for at least 14 days or test negative for Covid by a professional within 72 hours before setting off, and have travel insurance covering at least US$10000 in medical expenses while in Thailand in order to avoid having to quarantine when you arrive in Thailand.

Before you apply, you need to have a scan of your passport and electronic copies of your Covid vaccination certificate or test result and the proof of your insurance coverage in hand. For those living in the UK, the NHS Covid Pass can be used as a vaccination certificate.

Select the option for Non-Thai Nationals, followed by the No Quarantine Plan. You can then fill in the details of your trip, before entering your personal details and the details of any dependent children under the age of 18 travelling with you. You should also attach scans of the passports of you and your children.

Afterwards, you may enter the details of the Covid vaccine or test you have taken and attach the corresponding certificates. Please be aware that you may have to enter the details of 1 or 2 doses depending on the vaccine you have taken.

You may then enter the details of where you will be staying in Thailand, your home address and an emergency contact. On the page that follows, you can provide the details of your travel insurance policy by entering the policy number and attaching a copy of the proof of cover. If you are currently not insured, you may get insured on the spot.

Enter all the countries you will be in within the 14 days before arriving in Thailand and continue to the final page where you may review all the details you have entered before submitting the application. You will receive an Access Code which can be used to review the status of your application and will also be emailed to you.

Your application should typically be processed in up to 2 hours if you apply on or after 1st June, 2022. When your application is approved, you will receive an email with your Thailand Pass attached as a PDF file. While you may store your Pass on your phone, I will recommend printing out a copy and taking it with you along with other supporting documents to be presented to Thai immigration, just in case your phone stops working!
