Never used on any commercial release of "King Creole," this extraordinary, nearly a minute-and-a-half guitar bridge really showcases Scotty Moore's artistry. Found on a studio acetate (Track EX-13) about 40 years ago, it doesn't seem to have made its way online yet. Just for fun, we tried to sync it up somewhat with Elvis' lip-sync "King Creole" in the movie. We figured that would be better than just a still image.
Never mind that Elvis' prop is an acoustic while the music is from an electric guitar. Also, each Jordanaire is holding (but not playing) a horn. At least, D.J. Fontana is appropriately positioned.
