Anddd here's the title track of the EP, "Manic Pixie Therapist". The title of this song is inspired by the "manic pixie dream girl" trope, commonly used in books and film to describe a certain type of quirky female character whose main role in the plot is to enhance the life of the (often sad and slightly lost) male protagonist. I wrote this song about feeling like I was that female "manic pixie... therapist" for someone. Hope you've enjoyed the EP, and reminder that it is also available to stream on other platforms! :)

lyrics:
[verse 1]
i feel like i’m
your manic pixie therapist
sometimes
we breathe in
breathe out
and you fall in love with me
every time
[verse 2]
it’s not fair
how you always run
i can’t diagnose you
so you take the fun
i’ll take your pain and
sit with it for you
but I do it every time
[chorus]
part of me knows i should hate you
but you left me so bare i’ve got nothing to feel
part of me thinks it’d be different
if i was easier to love and if you were easier to keep
[verse 3]
i feel like you
pick out all the sugar
and leave me with salt
you touch me
to leave me
wondering why or if it's all my fault
[verse 4]
it’s not fair
how you
said you liked me too much
for you to ever really be with me
so i’ll sit here
please don’t
wring out my heart
and drink up my empathy
but i let you every time
[chorus]
[outro]
i feel like i’m
your manic pixie therapist
sometimes
we breathe in, breathe out
but i cant be that for you all the time
