To say it's been an eventful week is an understatement. I've had both pure joy and pure despair, split up between the former early in the week and the latter later in the week. This game of life, it ain't easy, as David Bowie once sang. The curse of the last 48 hours, and in effect start of summer break, has also seeped into the game, as I have had absolutely no consistency on this combo. The Jesko's a car I'm relatively weak in and don't understand the drifts, despite Silverstone being one of my stronger tracks. It's probably not helped by personal issues going on at the minute either; the distraction means I haven't been able to push and train as much as I'd like, which leads to a much more difficult week than the triumphs of last week. Last week, I was wondering how everyone else wasn't finding my pace. This week, it's the complete opposite. Five tenths off pole without an answer and just no feel for the car on this circuit. Certainly a hard day's night. As of this point, I've decided to scrap this week and look ahead to next week, where it's Sebring GP for the first time in WTT, and the potential for good things, as the Valour is the first best car below PR 70 since May with the Formula E Gen1 cars, and it's those kind of slippery cars I thrive in.
