When I started painting, my sister wanted to paint also. I gave her some supplies, showed her how to mix paint, and off she went!
She paints all the time. And she find so much joy in painting. I find joy watching her paint. She is proud of every single painting she does. And she should be. They are beautiful and filled with love.
I love her fearless attitude.
She starts with a pencil for the drawing, never worries about getting it perfect. She said once "I don't know how to draw that thing so I'm leaving it out of my painting." That is great advice!
She knows I record videos for Patreon and asked if she could teach painting too.
This is her first video, and there will be more. She loved explaining her process. I recorded this when we were visiting our cousins so I didn't have the usual stand for my camera.
