How to: Overtake AROUND THE OUTSIDE (in karts)
Overtaking around the outside in karting is an ART. Because the design of the steering in most karts along with the short wheel base allows for incresed handling in tight turns compared to cars. This means that defending against an overatking around the outside is much easier. To execute around the outside, I follow these three principals: 1) Get your nose ahead by the apex, 2) Give enough room to the kart inside all the way through the corner, 3) Don't waste time trying to defend into the next corner.
