Until Dawn: Remake - PC Walkthrough. Gameplay. Max Settings. No Commentary!
• Game Info: Until Dawn is a branching narrative survival horror game in which any choice of action by the player may cause other consequences later in the story.
• My Take: As a huge fan of The Dark Pictures games, this one was a must-play for me. Sadly, it also suffered from the same engine issues as the other games. I literally had to edit every single conversation in a 6-hour game. Look when I'm uploading this and when the game came out. Was it worth it? Probably not, but I still think it looks better. Now it actually flows smoothly. I removed all the pop-ins during cutscenes, all the lags, freezes, stuttering, delays, and characters NOT loading on time(They just appear or disappear during the cinematics, it's crazy lol.. and the game is on an SSD too!! 7800X3D as well.)
Anyways, how was the game? It was as awesome as their other games. I only felt upset over that 1 single death... you know which 1. It feels like you can't do anything to save that person. In a game about choices... you literally have 2, and both of them don't do anything. Other than that? Bad remake and PC port. The FSR 3.0 didn't work. Settings always reset to ultra, even tho my computer couldn't handle it... It was a pain in the back to configure and play. If the game was perfect, the port that is... i would give it a solid 9. Story, visuals and gameplay-wise. Sadly it is NOT.
P.s. The annoying stuttering and freezing every time a new level starts... was ""fun"". Id rather have loading screens than the game freezing during conversations and random walking.
