No suspect, no motive as police search for clues in stabbing death of Vancouver chef
Friends and colleagues have identified 32-year-old Japanese national Wataru Kakiuchi as the man who died due to a fatal stab wound on Wednesday in Vancouver's Chinatown.
He will be remembered as a loyal friend, passionate musician and talented chef. He was a longtime employee of a popular Japanese restaurant in downtown Vancouver.
Vancouver police found Kakiuchi with a stab wound at around 3:30 a.m. (PST). He died before being taken to hospital.
