The Heritage Audio Baby RAM is a Passive Monitor Controller allowing you to switch between two sets of speakers.

It also has MONO, MUTE, and DIM, which are essential in a monitor controller.

Note, this is a passive monitor controller (not active), meaning it does not require power. You simply send your audio from your audio interface into the unit, and have one global knob for volume. For the best setup, you'll want to match your speaker volume on both sets of speakers so when switching A/B, you have a fair volume comparison.
