Basic platform with small sample code to make a robot based on raspberry pi. It uses python code with GPIO to operate robot and take input from ultrasonic distance sensor.
The code can be modified to do advanced tasks like attach a camera and do image processsing, connect to bluetooth or wifi and control it through mobile devices or browser, attach other sensors or do other r&d.

Roundbot is a compact indoor educational robot for general applications.
This variant is based on Raspberry Pi with an external L298 IC based motor driver.
It comes completely pre-assembled and programmed for obstacle avoider robot application.
An ultrasonic sensors is included in package and interfaced with the board.
Robot is made stand alone and it works on Python script.
The Rapsberry Pi has Raspbian Buster Lite OS installe, which runs a python scirpt at startup.
A shutdown script is also written on a switch input, this way the robot is completely standalone and doesn't require any extra peripherals.
More customizations may be done easily by editing python script. This package works as a quick start for Raspberry Pi Zero Wireless based robotics where user may also improve the robot by adding different preipherals like USB Wi-fi, keyboard-mouse, bluetooth or more sensors.
This robot uses GPIOs for controlling motors and other functions of robot like obstacle sensing and shutdown button. Robot body is made of PVC alloy. The body of robot is designed in such a way that it doesn't get stuck in corners, it has round shape and low center of gravity.
Robot includes body parts to add extra sensors and a micro servo motor mounting capability.
