In this video I'll take you through the experience of modding Skyrim! It's... Fun..?!?! Grab your favorite drink and watch me get thrown in ice jail because I ate one egg!

After purchasing a Quest 3 headset for the holidays, I decided to get into Skyrim VR. I have a Vive Pro 2 that I haven't been using much, mostly because it seems to have some issues maybe with the cable? Either way I was excited to try wireless VR. The lack of wires is incredible, but what really blew me away was the pancake lenses. I feel like I can actually look around within the goggles now instead of having to turn my head to get in the fresnal sweet spot.

I didn't remember Skyrim VR being as... bare bones as it is in it's vanilla state. It doesn't translate well into flat, but there is essentially no draw distance, textures are awful up close (which coincidentally happens a lot in VR) and character models and meshes are immersion breaking. But... What if we could bring Skyrim Mods to Skyrim VR? Well thanks to the work of some talented modders, most flat skyrim mods can be used in VR. The only issues are things with .DLL and a lot of those have been updated!

I'm no where close to done. I could easily add another 400 mods just to get every little thing how I want, but that would be a ridiculously long video. I'm eagerly looking forward to the RTX 5090 so that I can push this game even further. I'd love to be able to run it with these mods at 120FPS!
