What is SQL? Structured Query Language - is a very powerful tool to talk with databases. It doesn't just allow you to retrieve data from your database. You can use it for advanced data filtering, computing statistics, aggregating data, joining tables, and doing much more.

All of this makes learning SQL beneficial to anyone who wants to start a career in IT. No matter if you are, or plan to become, a database expert, python developer, system admin or data scientist. Chances are you will have to deal with databases, and SQL is a common language that will help you communicate with any of them.

This is the second part of the "We Learn SQL" series. In the first video, our expert Adrian explained what databases are. Now, we’ll focus on SQL.
