All The King's Horses - (The Monkees Interpretive Cover)
When I was first learning guitar in my tweens, my uncle Scott would invite me over to his house to play music. We'd spent hours playing through 50's and 60's songs, switching between guitar, bass, drums, lead vocals and harmony. Occasionally, we'd even bust out the 4-track and record some multi-track covers on cassette tapes. It was really the start of all the multi track recording that I still enjoy doing today.
One song that I really dig, is a lesser-known Monkees tune called "All The King's Horses" written by Mike Nesmith. As a kid, the only way to hear the tune was to catch it on TV. Luckily for me during this pandemic, Scott is one of those individuals in my small circle of family I can still hang out with. So just like the old times, we spent a few hours multi-tracking the Monkees tune "All The King's Horses"
