How to Schedule a DR Test with Veeam Availability Orchestrator (
In this episode of #DRTestTuesday we see how simple it is to schedule a disaster recovery test (what we call a DataLab Test in Orchestrator land).
One of Orchestrator's best features is the ability to schedule a fully automated DR test. The best part? The DataLab Test Report that is generated during a test clearly shows if you are meeting your RTOs and RPOs, and can even be automatically e-mailed to key stakeholders.
After your DR test is complete, the isolated copy of your production environment can be left running to allow application owners to do whatever they want! From testing patches and changes, to letting the new person wreak havoc, nothing is off the table.
