2021 Top Ten Games of the Year - Asher Games' Free Play Friday - From Indies to AAA, 2021 was LONG
It's time to make a Game of the Year list and close out 2021! The revival of Free Play Friday is complete, and despite this year being a crappy sequel to 2020, it was honestly a really good year for new games. So here I've ranked my personal Top 10. This list was pretty competitive, even when including following restriction: games considered for this list were ones that I covered on Fridays BUT not one that I later turned into a series. So this is a little bit of a year in review, but very much a celebration of other games that I enjoyed this year.
Obviously, like any list this one is subjective. My criteria is simple: these games are ranked based on my own personal enjoyment.
