Desktop mode on Steam Deck allows you to perform functions just like a normal computer. One of these functions is copying and pasting items.
There are different ways to copy and paste items on Steam Deck. One of it dragging and dropping, which we often use it on computers. To do this on Steam Deck, tap on the item you'd like to move, press and hold the touchpad and move that particular item to your desired destination.
The next way is using the common method; copy and paste. Select the item you'd like to copy and right-click on it. On Steam Deck, you use the L2 button to click when in desktop mode. On the pop-up menu, click on Copy. On the destination folder, right-click on an empty space and tap on Paste.
Keep in mind that you can only do this when the Steam Deck is in desktop mode.
