Newborn Madagascar Hissers Eating Ootheca!
More babies! These were born between 5:15 and 5:30am on Friday May 20, 2016. Mother Little Kim, father Legolas. After birth the mother roach passes the ooth or ootheca, which is the egg casing the babies were in while inside of her, for them to have as a first meal. It's full of proteins which they'll need to harden their exo skeleton.
