Crafting artistic legacy: Reclaiming your time for art
I actually feel a bit uncomfortable sharing this week's post. I'm 15 years removed from this moment in time, but writing and speaking about it brings up the good and the bad.
I had a moment in my 20s where I truly understood the brevity of our lives. It made me ask:
If this is all the time I have left, how am I using it?
That has impacted the determination and commitment I have for my art. It’s probably why I created Artist Strong.
While I hope you never have to face something difficult to realize what I did, I hope today's conversation gets you thinking about the time you have left on this planet, and if art factors in as much as you value it.
